If you use your blog to submit to some of the challenge sites, they ask that you not have the confirmation thingie on there. I don't have a lot of traffic and let up on the moderation of comments -- I always have the option of removing something if it's inappropriate.

If it were me, I'd keep it together unless there was some reason I didn't want scrappy people to see real life or vice versa. My blog has such a small readership and I know them all -- or know who they are at least -- that I don't care what they see.
