The
Kaisercraft On The Move collection is perfect to make a bright, retro-feel,
year-long desk calendar. I made this desk calendar as a gift packet in a
handmade envelope as a perfect "Happy New Year" gift for a coworker. To
make this, I cut Roladex-size cards, rounded the corners, and glued on
printed calendar quarters to make the desk calendar stack. I then cut an
envelope based on the dimensions of the cards and created a seal with a
scallop oval punched shape and various size pennants. The gift packet
includes two mini wooden clothespins, when clipped to both sides, helps
the desk calendar stand. It's a simple yet effective and functional gift
perfect for my coworker's desk.
