Good THURSDAY morning to you all!!! Hope your week is going well :) Mine is as far as eating and exercise goes. STILL haven't made my journal!!! ACK!!! Been a busy week and it's not going to get better as far as that stuff goes!!!! GEEZ!!!!
Today's plan: workout, shower, then meet up with Meg and her family and in-laws for lunch and then friends coming up from FL to stay with us till Sunday. Plan to continue good eating and exercise while they are here. I am SORE from my last few days' workouts but that's okay. Tells me I'm working some unused muscles better!!!

Hi, Mary Lou..................and others that follow.
I really wanted to just stay in bed this morning, but I did get up. Was a little later than normal, but I got in 55 minutes of exercise. Guess some is better than none, right. YDD made it home last night just before 10 p.m., so we stayed up awhile chatting. Luckily I only have to work this morning, and then I'm off until January 3. I'm going to enjoy that!

I just finished a 6.8 mile walk/run and it was cold but feel good to have done it. Going to do some medicine ball work now and some ab stuff too.

Sure thing!! I used to drink a lot of it too and I'm trying not to most days. Every now and then I get on a kick and need the bubblies.....and then 2 of them taste really good. I drink either Fresca or Diet Root Beer.
I've never been one to drink soda, so I'm good there. Actually, I'm not too bad on most of them. Occasionally use canned soup in a recipe, but don't eat it other than that. Only have ham once in awhile and bacon when we have company a few times a year, and usually no other processed meats. No "diet" anything! LOL! If we have red meat, we usually have it two nights in a row, as I thaw out 1# and that makes 4-4oz. servings. Don't drink alcohol, but potatoes are my "white starch" downfall, although I don't eat them as much as I used to. Looks like we do need to add more broccoli, carrots and cauliflower. We usually have broccoli once a week and we seldom eat fish, as dh doesn't care much for it. Diet needs a little tweaking, but mostly, I just need to move, move, move! LOL! Looks like I've got my work cut out for me to follow that chart! LOL!! I am one of those addicted to diet drinks - I really do need to work on that.
Sorry to be checking in so late. We slept in a little bit and then DD HAD to go to story time at the library. And then there was lunch to fix and clothes to wash and the list goes on and on.
I worked for 5 hours yesterday getting my DD's bedroom "beautiful" - so, once again, thanks to housework, I got in a lot of activity (if no formal exercise). I even worked through lunch! I never do that! But, it's done and DD is happy so it's all great!
Today we're going to take down our Christmas tree and I hope to make it to my scrap space and get some things together in there - I really want to get back scrapping.
