Are you right or left handed?  Are you profoundly right or left handed?  Can you use your non dominate hand for much?

I was at the hospital with DIL to be's mom.  She has a serious cat bite on her right hand.  I was watching her struggle to eat with her left.  I even offered to come feed her, lol.  We got to talking about how little she can do with her left.

I write right handed, but I do a lot left handed.  I eat left handed.  Can pick up most things and do them left handed.  My DD tells me that I tie my shoes left handed, taught her to do so, and everyone made fun of her because her shoes were tied backwards.  Is there such a thing?  My boss tells me I file left handed.  I guess I never thought about not being able to do stuff because one hand is injured.

I'm ambidextrous, so I can do most everything with both hands.  I use my left hand to write most of the time, as that's the way I was taught, before anyone realized I could do it with both.

I'm definitely a right-handed person!  I can do some things with my left, but my right really wants to take over.

I'm right handed, but with a little bit of practice I could be ambidextrous.  I do use my left hand a lot, even for eating.  I can write with my left hand, but it's not as pretty as my right, so I don't do it.

Very right handed.

When my hubby had hand surgery he had to learn to use his left hand more.  He said one of the hardest things to get used to was brushing his hair.  :)

Hope her hand heals quickly.

I am definitely mixed handed.  I do somethings left handed and others right.  Over the years I have found that I have moved more to right handed things.  I think because it is easier to eat right handed (you don't bump into people) and most scissors and sports equipment is more readily available in right handed forms!

I am right handed.  I can do some things with my left hand and I could write with my left hand if I had to.  I think if my right hand was injured, I would be able to function fairly well with my left hand especially if I had more practice.

I am right handed.  But I'm left eyed.  LOL.  When I played volleyball in highschool I could easily hit left handed.  If the ball was closer to my left hand then I'd hit with my left, LOL.  It drove my coach nuts!

I've never tried to bat left handed in softball but I'v always been curious if I could.

Odd thing, I can write left handed but I have to write backwards!  It's really strange!!

I think women probably have an easier time making do with their less dominant hand, especially mothers.  We have to do so much all the time that we use both hands for many things, different things

I am totally right handed. I can't do much of anything with my left. Except I've been told at mini golf that I golf lefty. Stick out tongue

Hope she feels better soon!
