Thousands!  I print photos every few months.  I try to keep them organized chronologically.  When I go to scrap, I scrap what hits me.  Could be anything, from any year.

Twenty-two. I only print the pictures I need after I've got an idea of what the page will look like. We just got back from vacation and I spent a lot of time figuring out layouts, so on Thursday when Costco's 9 cent coupon takes effect, I'll have a pile to print.

Thousands-with 4 kids it builds up fast..they are sorted  by child or as a family pic and by year....  then I have just scanned about 700 family hertiage pictures that need printed ,,,, my great aunt loved to take pics and she went into the nursing home a couple of years ago so I have plenty to do...never going to get caught up by that's ok

Well, to begin with, I put ALL my photos in albums in date order, then I pull out what I want to scrap. I don't have an "active" pile. Now, there are 20 albums that hold 300 photos each, so that means 6000 are waiting to be scrapped....

Maybe about a dozen or so, I print as I go but sometimes I get derailed in finishing a project (like DH's army album0.  I print as I go so I can size the pictures anyway I want to suit the layout I have in mind.

Oh Boy - that's quite the question. I just got into scrapbooking last fall. I ended up with ALL of my children's photos; my 2 DS's graduated this year, so instead of simply returning their photos to them, I wanted to make scrapbooks. I had bought some spiral-bound ones when all my children were smaller, so I set myself the gigantic task of starting in fall and getting their 2 albums done as Christmas gifts. By the time I was done, I was HOOKED. I wanted to do an album for DD, but decided to do 12x12 LO's and wanted her to do it with me. Now it's summer and I've gone a little bonkers (as all good scrapbookers do Wink). I have at least 10 albums on the go; I bought a gorgeous desk to house all my supplies and as a workstation; I have more paper and supplies than I can use.......and I still have 4 boxes of photos from the last 24 years to go through......plus THOUSANDS of pics on the computer I would love to print. Those ones I just print as I get ideas for LO's. The other ones I scan to the computer as I use them for LO's so they will be there if (and when) I ever go digital.

Honestly, I have no idea.  I just know it's a lot.

I usually print as I go, although I have several extra's laying around that could be used on something.
