Another great sketch Ashley. I did do some misting, but it's kind of hard to see. I misted the doily and the title. Fun sketch. Thanks Ashley!

Yay, I got mine in!  The background paper is misted.  It needed a little extra so misting was great!  The green letters are also white ones that are misted.

I finished!! I used spray ink to make my own patterned paper. I cut out a die cut on my cricut and used that to mask- the outcome is the pink background behind the pictures. I also used it to make the butterflies pink and I added a few more sprays on the cream background. I really love this sketch!!

Hi Ashley, this is the first time I have submitted a layout to one of your sketch challenges!  I actually tried to burn the house down yesterday by boiling the kettle dry, and was dying to scrapbook my pictures.  Since I love doing digital scrapbooking too (I use My Digital Studio) I used a digital splatter for the mist!

Thanks for the fun!

Thanks for the great sketch, Ashley!  I used two different mists on this layout.

Ashley,

You come up with the greatest sketches, and this one was really easy to use (I will definitely be doing it again). Normally I am a very logical person who likes to plan things in detail, but every aspect of this LO was chosen "on the fly." I nabbed the papers on the way out the door to a crop at a friend's. My DD made some of the bg paper for the smaller photos using alcohol inks. My friend had lovely border and flower punches, so off I went. Before I knew it, this LO just came together Yes

Here is my layout for this challenge.  I'm working on a scrapbook of my daughter's wedding and this challenge helped inspire me for the layout of this page.  Thanks so much....  My daughter asked her younger counsins to be in her wedding.  So these are pics of them.   Fun page....

I feel like I am full of excuses for your Ladies lately and not being able to get to comments.  We finished VBS on Friday night, only to come home and find out that some part of our Internet was struck by lightning.  We've been spending the weekend, trying to figure out what needs to be repaired or replaced.  Tomorrow, we are going to pick up a new Modem and I am REALLY HOPING that once we replace that, the issue will be resolved.  I came to my hubby's office to auto-post some Blog posts for the next few days and just wanted to pop in and let you know that I will definitely get to your comments once things are up and running again!!  Thanks for all of your awesome entries and your patience!!  Smile
