First day of inservice tomorrow!

One of my favorite things in life is spending over 2 hours tonight chatting with a great friend about our plans to spend all day tomorrow together and knowing we will never run out of things to talk about!

Football starts tomorrow!  Kind of excited, I have to work on a Saturday, but the little kiddos are so cute!

Our first furough day is this Friday and DH has to work, YDD is in school, so a teacher friend and I are going to take a road trip. We'll be able to visit ODD at her college then go see my friend's granddaughter who is turning one!! I'm so excited!! (although it's a non paid day, at least I'll have fun.)

(DD called last night and talked forever, I think she was a little homesick. It surprised me because it's her second year away. I told her I wouldn't call her so much, but she said, "YES, call me!")

I love how my sunflowers are peeking over the top of the fence as I come running down the street. Makes me so happy.

Looks like the Chatter Thread got buried again, so I'm resurrecting it again.

Too much going on at my house today. Remodeling crew is here enlarging our two smallish closets into one large one by taking 4 feet out of the 19 ft length of our bedroom. They hope to finish up this week and I'm hoping they do.

I taught alone for the whole day! And I didn't loose my voice.

Too much going on at my house today. Remodeling crew is here enlarging our two smallish closets into one large one by taking 4 feet out of the 19 ft length of our bedroom. They hope to finish up this week and I'm hoping they do.

I hope they finish quickly!  That sounds messy!

Too much going on at my house today. Remodeling crew is here enlarging our two smallish closets into one large one by taking 4 feet out of the 19 ft length of our bedroom. They hope to finish up this week and I'm hoping they do.

I'm amazed at how much they got done. The electrical is finished, the walls are up with sheetrock in place and they will be back in the morning to do the mudding and perhaps even get the texture on. They didn't have quite enough of the crown molding; only lacked a few inches.  Since the molding is old it is no longer available in an exact match. So they cut out the corners and put in those pretty little corner pieces. That made it work out okay.  We have to get the carpet man out to do a bit of work in the closet, but we have a large piece of the carpet left so shouldn't be a problem.  I really think they'll be out of her at the end of the day Wednesday.  Ed plans to do the painting himself and fix the interior of the closet the way we want it.
