HEY PEEPS! It's Wednesday! I am telling you, something weird is going on in the ISSUE challenge land.. so I had a different "plan" for this week and guess what.. I was flipping to the page I had earmarked for this week and WHAM... I saw a whole article that originally I was going to not even touch! I looked at it and said to myself.. "oh...oh... I have to use this article cause you can add a twist! Sooo you know I am gonna do it.. And here it comes.. first go to your magazine and check out pages 91-97
I ISSUE YOU THIS CHALLENGE: That's right, pull out the PINK baby.. (not the baby pink hahaha-it's late, I have had way too much caffeine.. and well bare with me.) Create a layout, card, or whatever toots your horn that utilizes PINK.. NOW here is your twist to really try.. USE PINK IN A WAY THAT IS NOT TYPICALLY PINK (if you don't feel it that is fine.. but I want you to stretch yourselves) .
Here is my example.. While NANI (my Great Dane is a girl, I used red and pink on a page about my dog... and not a love page.. but a HIKING page! You don't have to overpower your page with pink, you can add just a little tid-bit here and there, but I know a lot of us use pink on love and girl pages... so that is fine if you are inspired that way... but JUST try to use it on a layout that is totally unexpected (thank ScrappinEweRobyn for that-see last week's challenge and I promise you will understand) -- sorry, the pink is a bit hard to see on the butterfly and chipboard flower
Blessings today my friends!

I thought for sure you would use this as a challenge! I was working on a LO on Sunday that has pink in it and was thinking to myself, "I wonder if this will be an Issue challenge???"
I started my ThanksLiving LO. Can I use it here as well?

Erika, awesome challenge yet again. reading through the comments I see someone asked if we can use layouts submitted previously, so I thought of this one, I entered in the recipe challenge, but i love it so much and used pink in a very vintage way so thought that was stretching the pink theme... here is my entry and can we do more than 1?
Fun, Fun!! Starting this one today!!

Okay, I think we are just going to have to start having an Issue Challenge everyday!!! I just love them TOO much and this one was AWESOME!! Loved that article in the magazine! My "twist" is using pink on a boy/beach layout.
I use pink a lot, so I will definitely have to think about how to do this one!

brown eyed girl: I still don't have my Jan/Feb issue and now the digital issue is not available
I was able to access the issue by going to here: http://www.creatingkeepsakes.com/index.html, then clicking on the magazines tab and clicking access current digital issue. I don't know if it gave me access just now because I accessed it earlier, but hopefully it will work for you!

thanks for the link, Colleen. I was able to look at this article. I don't have digi sub so it would only let me preview a certain number of pages---luckily this article was no long than it is because it told me I had viewed the max # of allowable pages! Glad I was able to see it though.
