Last year (you know, it was soooooo long ago) I started posting a challenge to get people commenting in the gallery more. I don't know about you, but I loved it. And then the holidays hit. I was crazy busy, as I'm sure all of you were, and I lost the momentum. But I have a new suggestion. Rather than doing a weekly challenge, we'll do a monthly one. I'll get people to sign up to host. Won't be any prizes, just an encouragement to make comments in the gallery. Hosts would be in charge of starting a thread each week, and keeping it on the top page of the Scrapbooking forum.
What do we think? I thought the board was a nicer place when we were all making regular comments.

Weekly Thread here on the SBR - You decide how you want to do it, but a thread reminding us to post in the Gallery needs to be established every week.Daily Thread BTT - (That's "Bumped To Top") Hopefully you won't need to do much, as we'll be BTTing it ourselves, by commenting. But as the host, you'll need to be sure it stays on the front page of the SBR forum.OPTIONAL - If you want to offer an RAK, wonderful! But don't feel obligated.

I think comments are really encouraging so I try to post something meaninful as often as I can. I set a goal to comment on at least ten posted layouts a day, some days I do more and some days I don't make it online at all.
I agree that anything that encourages us to to encourage each other is a great idea.
