Smiles, Faces, Toes, Places
Ok so this whole scrapbooking thing is alittle out of control. I just posted about making a card with a collage of landscape pics I took. And as I sit surrounded by projects, I realize just how many photos I really want to work with. I can now relate to the newspaper editor who only gets one headline photo.
So let me think 'outloud' and listen with words to your suggestions:
- the multi square background die cut, with photos as the squares, spaced 1/4 apart - 16 square. Loved this look with photos from a water camera in Hawaii.
- Photos cut with diecut machine as the alphabet headline. Positioning the palmtree as the "I" in Hawaii was alittle challenging. And I definitely had to restrain using photos instead of paper in the headlines. The page really pops and definitely gives me more space for photos.
- Two inch squares of photos as the border. framing the page. This one started out pretty good at the design stage but can't quite seem to find the right photos that blend into the background and form a good border.
When I look at older pages using only two photos, I can't help but wonder where the rest of those pictures got off to. I really enjoy seeing other scrappers using multiple photos.
Thanks now for your inputs.
