Scrapping Space

My scrapping space is a mess. Not from me, per se, just a tad from me. My eldest's b-day was April 29, and I did a lot for his birthday from my scrapping supplies. Plus it's getting hotter. I was just plain tuckered out from all that, didn't quite clean up *everything* yet.

Then this past weekend DH decided it was a good idea to move the washer and dryer back to that space. Meaning: My scrapping space was being reclaimed by the laundry! Which is good in the long run, but not right now. My Stuff that is in my Ikea Bergsbo cabinet is fine, but a lot of it is on my table and sewing machine table and that all is shoved rudely aside into a jumbled mess.

The "old laundry room" is to be MINE! But it's in no shape to be mine yet. It's an unfinished room, had some of our cats in there at night, plus the laundry ... it's got to be really cleaned, then a floor put in (basic dirty concrete right now) & drywalled. Then it's mine. :)

It's not large, but I know it's more space than I was using. I'll need to have my future desktop computer in there as well, so it'll be a scrapping office space. With it's own door. And a Window. Smile

I'm not sure how I'll arrange things. Basically I have the old kitchen table as my desk right now, and hope to get something else going in my new room. I'm thinking of wrap around counter with desk area for my computer and scrapping space. Cabinets above. My Bergsbo cabinet is the oddball that I will have to find the right place to sit it in.

My potential cabinets are in the kitchen right now. We have some cheap decent cabinets that'd be great for crafting use. We have them as a temporary setup that's stretched into forever ... sooner than later though I'll get them into my new scrapping space.

I hope this will all come to fruition. Gift

I am new to scrapping and don't have a designated space for my craft.  However I am looking into "claiming" some space this summer.  I am quickly learning that there is more than meets the eye to scrapbooking.  :-)

Stretch and grow!  This will be quite the challenge but OH WHAT FUN! Enjoy the process and take pictures of each step so you can scrap the caterpillar to butterfly transition!

I've HAD to change my scrapping space several times.  But each time I've been moved (or chose to move) it just got better!!  I found better ways to organize and set up my work space.  I got to paint it the color I WANTED..instead of the color it needed to be!  I say..Smile and make it yours!  Happy scrapping will happen again!
