Calling All Sketch Artists
Creating Keepsakes wants to see your fresh,
never-before-published pages about family, everyday activities, and
summer following this CK Sketch. Send us a scan or digital photo of your
layout, along with a supply list and short description of any cool
techniques you used to create it by Wednesday, December 8, 2010 to editorial@creatingkeepsakes.com with “CK Sketches”
in the subject line. Please include your supply list and details about
the techniques you used on your layout in the body of the e-mail. Your
page could be published in an upcoming issue!
Priority will be given to 2-page, multi-photo layouts, and
layouts that have not been previously published in a magazine or on a

Are You a Time Traveler?
Have you ever ignored the timeline and instead jumped straight to scrapbooking a layout for a specific moment in
time? We’d like to see it for possible publication in an upcoming
issue. We are looking for scrapbook pages where you find ways to ignore
the calendar and instead scrapbook emotions, life lessons, and those
special things you don’t want to forget. Send scans or digital photos of

with “Time Traveler” in the subject line. Along with your page image,
please include your supply lists and a short sentence explaining the

We are accepting submissions for one-page summer or patriotic layouts
that can be completed in 15 minutes or less. Please e-mail a scan of

How do you take summertime photos successfully? Do you use certain
camera settings? Are their specific times of day you like to shoot? How
do you avoid harsh sun reflections and/or squinty eyes? Any ideas you
