Participating in the Club CK Forums is easy and should be fairly intuitive. Here are a few tips to get you started:
From your Member Homepage, you can enter the Forums by:
- Clicking on the Forums link in the grey nav bar, or
- Clicking on any Forum post in the left column
Club CK Forums are organized into two Groups:
Each Group has several Forums. Each Forum has several Topics (or Threads), and each Topic has several Posts.
To Sort and Filter Forum Posts:
- Go to the Forums homepage by clicking on its orange link
- In the upper left, you'll see a link Sorting and Filtering
- Click on that and enter your criteria
To post in a Forum (once you are on the Forum homepage):
- Click on its orange link
- Click on the Topic that interests you
- Click on Reply if you'd like to respond (you must register to participate)
- Write your post, add pictures or links and tag it if you'd like
- If you do not want to be notified when someone responds to that post, uncheck the "Email me replies to this post." box
- Finally, click the Post button
To edit your post:
- Once you've created your post, click on the More button where you'll see a drop down menu:
- Click on Edit and then click the Post button again
About the More button
This drop down located within the post itself gives you lots of cool options for that post. You can:
- Edit or Delete the post (only your posts)
- Add post as a favorite
- Add forum as a favorite
- Report Abuse (hopefully that won't happen too often!)
- Send to Friend
Starting & Stopping Thread e-mails notifications:
- Click on the thread
- Scroll to the top of the first post on the page
- In the upper right, you'll see one of the following messages: Email me when someone replies/Stop emailing replies to me
- Click on the message to toggle back and forth
You can subscribe or unsubscribe to a Forum by:
- Going to the Forum homepage
- Click on Subscribe to Forums link in the left column under Shortcut
