One of the great things about paper is that you can mimic
the looks of other materials with very little effort. Take Davinie Fiero's
scrapbook page, for example. A little crumpled paper adds a cozy, fabric-like
touch that's easy for you to duplicate on your own pages. Give it a try with
different patterns and colors to enhance the theme of your layout. Or punch
difference borders into your crumpled paper to create a bold or sweet fabric
look.

Here's how to create your own faux fabric for your scrapbook
page.
1. Cut edge of paper strip using decorative scissors.

2. Spritz your paper strip with water.

3. Crumple paper. Uncrumple and allow to dry. Repeat as
desired.

Here's what to do to enter:
1. Create a layout with a faux fabric edge.
2. Upload a scan or photograph of your layout to the Club CK gallery. (Learn how to upload to the gallery here.)
3. Leave a comment below with the URL link to your layout posted in the Club
CK gallery; for example, your comment could look like this: "My layout is
posted here: http://clubcreatingkeepsakes.com/media/p/31086.aspx." Note:
Previously uploaded layouts are not eligible; layouts must be posted on or
after October 18, 2010 to be eligible.
Your comment must be left before 9:00 a.m. MST on Monday, November 1, 2010
to be considered for the contest. One winner will be randomly selected from all
