Let's start camp with the morning flag ceremony!
Flags are all the rage right now, especially in terms of banners and pennants. And when it comes to incorporating the look onto your scrapbook pages and cards, you have many options. Try out one of these four ideas.
--

"She Completely & Absolutely Adores Her Doggie" by Elizabeth Kartchner, as seen in 52 More Scrapbooking Challenges
1. Create a banner by cutting triangles from patterned paper and overlapping them. Consider journaling on one or more of the pennants.
--
----
"Decorating 4 U" by Ali Edwards, as seen in Creating Keepsakes magazine
2. Use a large pennant as a template for trimming photos for your scrapbook pages, and then arrange the photos in a horizontal banner on your layout.
--

"Happy Birthday" by Cindy Tobey, as seen in Creating Keepsakes magazine
3. Make a banner on your layout using fabric instead of patterned paper. Cindy Tobey created this banner by sewing fabric scraps around thin rope and then cutting the scraps into triangles.

--

"Parade Time" by Kimber McGray, as seen in the July/August 2010 issue of Creating Keepsakes magazine
4. Remember, not all banners need triangular pennants. Experiment with rectangles, squares, and more.
