Thanksgiving one-hour challenge

I know most of you are really busy this week getting ready for Thanksgiving, so I wanted this week's one-hour challenge to be extra quick. I discovered a project on Becky Higgins' blog that I thought would be really fun for us all to do this time of year. You can read about the project here and here.

You can either make a wall chart like she did, or you could use it as inspiration for a scrapbook page. Simply create a fun title on a 12x12 page, and let your family fill in the details this week. You could create one for each family member, or have one for your entire family.

In the next 60 minutes, create a blank gratitude canvas. By participating, you'll use up your stash, complete a project, or even have the chance to win cardstock from Die Cuts with a View, markers from Bic, and stamps from Papertrey Ink.

You have 60 minutes to complete the project. At the end of the 60 minutes, photograph or scan your project, and upload the image to the Club CK gallery (learn how to upload your project here). Then leave a comment below with the URL link to your page by 12:15 p.m. MST today. For example, your comment could look like this: "My page is posted here: http://clubcreatingkeepsakes.com/media/p/31086.aspx." One winner will be randomly selected who participates in the live challenge.

Note: If you're new to Club CK, you'll need to create a free account here in order to be able to upload your project. I suggest registering now so your account will be active by the time you complete your project.

Thanksgiving is a special time for most people in the United States, but with so much going on, it's easy to miss some photo opportunities and not realize it until it's time to scrap your photos. Use the questions below to come up with your own Thanksgiving shot list.

1. Did your children create any fun Thanksgiving projects at school?

2. How are your kids entertaining themselves while waiting for the big meal?

3. Are your children helpful in the kitchen? Or are they sneaking little bites of food?

4. What is your child's favorite part of the meal?

5. What are the kids up after dinner?

6. How do you cook a turkey in your family?

7. What time do you have to get up on Thanksgiving to get the turkey in the oven?

8. Who gets to carve the turkey?

9. Do you have any nontraditional items on the menu?

10. Do you have any special recipes that always make their way to the Thanksgiving table?

11. What is your favorite sidedish?

12. Who all helped to prepare the meal? Did guests bring certain dishes?

13. Do your kids have lots of cousins, and did any visit for Thanksgiving?

14. Do the guys help with preparing the meal at your house? Or are they busy watching football?

15. Is there someone in the family who is a great pie maker?

16. Do you serve other desserts besides pie?

17. Do you have special china you use for the meal?
