1-Hour Challenge: CK Sketches!

Good morning everyone!

Welcome to today's 1-Hour (and extended) Challenge.

Our Mar/Apr 2013 issue is available now, and this issue is filled with lots of scrapbooking inspiration, including our latest CK Sketch.

We would love to see your creative take on this multi-photo sketch. Just download the PSD file of the sketch or use the attached jpg , design your masterpiece, and then upload your layout to your gallery. You'll have until 11:30 am (Mountain Standard Time) to upload the image and leave a comment here with a link to your project.

One lucky winner for the 1-Hour Challenge will win a selection of scrapbooking supplies.

This looks like an excellent challenge for someone who doesn't use sketches - like me!  I will have to participate in the long version.  Thanks for the challenge Joannie.  Look forward to everyone's version.

I adjusted the sketch a little bit so that I could use it on a 1 page layout, but I kept it the same for the most part.

I choose to do just one side of the sketch.  Thanks for the fun challenge, it was nice to be able to participate.

For the long version I tried to work within an hour time frame and this is what I completed:

Thanks for the challenge.  It got me to deal with very old photos both emotionally and in clearing out my stacks of photos from the past.  Working within a time frame got me to focus on the task at hand and I didn't spend too much time thinking of the loss of my beloved Libby.  I feel good about it getting these pages done of Libby and all I have to do now is the journaling.  Thanks so much for this challenge and the sketch - great way to create with many photos.
