Recipe Scrapbooking Challenge: July 2012

Sometimes the biggest obstacle to starting a scrapbook page is choosing between all the beautiful papers and accents available. A recipe challenge helps you switch creative gears by asking you to use a few specific items on your scrapbook page! For today's challenge, all you need to do is create a scrapbook layout with the following five things:

   1. 4" x 6" photos

   2. Postcards, receipts, tickets, maps, or brochures

   3. Patterned paper

   4. Star-shaped accents

   5. Letter stickers in a variety of sizes

I hope you have tons of fun with this challenge!

-Nicole LarkinCreating Keepsakes online editor

Fun challenge!  This was perfect for me this week since I'm working on an 8x8 album of our vacation to AZ, and I have plenty of brochures and other memorabilia from our trip :)  Thanks for the challenge, CK!

Aloha!  This was fun!

clubcreatingkeepsakes.com/.../963281.aspx

Recipe: 1. 4x6 photo (used the photo we sent with our newsletter)     2. Postcard, tickets, reciepts, brochures (I used our family newsletter, which is in a brochure format - not your typical letter)     3. Pattern Paper ( I cut the stars out of red glitter paper and green dotted paper.  The gold paper is not plain, it has a shimmer to it)     4. Star-shaped accents (cut from 2 different punches)     5. Letter stickers in a variety of sizes  (I used 2 different types)
