Greetings, scrapbookers! This week we’re celebrating the week leading up to National Scrapbooking Day 2012 (Saturday, May 5) with the theme “scrapbooking around the house.” Each day we’ll host a variety of activities to get your scrap on, including tips, challenges, and prizes GALORE on both the Creating Keepsakes and Club CK blogs. As we scrapbook around the house, today we’re visiting the KITCHEN. Let’s see how CK Dream Team member Laura Vegas approaches it.
Today, we
are giving our challenge a little bit of a kitchen twist! Think of your
supplies as ingredients. Pull out a little bit of this, and a little
bit of that, just like the recipe calls for. Then follow that recipe, as you
assemble and mix your ingredients together, to create a perfect layout.
All you need to do for this challenge, is create a scrapbook layout using the following ingredients, and keeping to the basic recipe:

Easy 5-Step Recipe To Create Scrapbook Layout
Step 1:
Start with 3
patterned papers. Measure out 1/3 of each paper to use on your layout.
Step 2:
Add 1 Tbsp. all-purpose title, using letter stickers or a
die-cut title.
Step 3:
Find 1 perfect photo and combine with the layout, stirring till smooth.
Step 4:
Create 1 baker's dozen journaling
strips, blocks, or tags. Spread liberally over surface of layout.
Step 5:
Sprinkle on 3 clusters of embellishments, such
as dashes of buttons or pinches of brads.
Follow the recipe and post your layout on the idea galleries. I'm excited to see what tasty dishes you create!
