The Club
CK gallery is full of
inspiring scrapbook layouts, projects, and cards. Each week a few of the Creating
Keepsakes magazine editors and Club
CK moderators spend some time perusing the
gallery for the most inspirational layouts. Here are few of their picks from
this past week.

So Special to Me
by Kim Sharp

CK Meghan Nestel loves the combination of soft primary colors and
the adorable heart banner. Also, the wedge cut from the middle strip of paper
is a great way to add shape and interest to a layout.

Pandas
by Becca
Pin It
CK Meghan Nestel thinks Becca's use of marker to resemble
stitching is an incredibly cute and clever way to add detail to her layout
without actually having to sew. The rick rack border also helps to give the
page a hand-sewn feel.

Morocco Life is a Highway
by D'LeeBug
Pin It
CK Meghan Nestel loves how the simplicity of this layout--nothing
but pictures and a fantastic title--places all of the emphasis on D'Lee Bug's
amazing adventures.

In Your World
by JanaMorton

Deena Wuest loves how imaginative play is perfectly captured
in this fabulous layout. Want results like this? Grab your camera, get down to
your child's level and just play. Snapping photos when they are unaware will
capture those true slice of life moments. To further the playful feel, let your
photos drift off the page as Jana did here. Fun!

Life Is Better With Friends
by Dawn McVey

CK Nicole Larkin {hearts} how this card captures a zillion
different trends--wood grain, diagonal stripes, geometric shapes, maps,
butterflies--in one simple design.

Tricycle circa 1948
by Diana Waite
Pin It
CK Nicole Larkin instantly fell in love with the adorable vintage
photos of Diana Waite's mother. The pastel color scheme helps keep the focus on
the photos, and the fringe-cut strip of patterned paper across the middle
anchors both the title and the photos.

So Thoughtful Thank You Button
Card by Erika

CK Kris Brunson thinks the tone-on-tone stamping for the heart
background is a brilliant way to add texture, and outlining a focal stamp with
buttons gives the card even more dimension (and is a great way to use your
stash!).

Smile
by Melissa Johnson
Pin It
CK Kris Brunson adores the way Melissa Johnson placed her photos
on pennants in a banner hung from the top of the page.

Kickety Kick Ball
by Joscelyne Cutchens
Pin It
CK Nicole Larkin laughed out loud at the cute title and was
impressed with the way Joscelyne Cutchens turned the sunlight in her photo into
a design element, extending it out into the patterned paper mat and
highlighting it with an embellishment cluster.

The best day ever
by Angela
Pin It
Club CK Moderator D'LeeBug thinks the patterned paper shapes behind the
photo are marvelous. The pointed ends of
the middle two lead your eye across the center of the page to the photo, while
the curved ends of the top and bottom four shapes keep your eye within the area
of interest.
