December Pinterest Challenge

Pinterest is quickly becoming a very popular website for visual people. With the ability to "pin" any image you find online, users have the ability to visually bookmark and share tutorials, ideas, and images. Using an image that isn't necessary scrapbook related and creating a layout based on what you like about it is a very fun way to use the site. For this challenge that's exactly what you'll get to do!

Choose between one of the following images for inspiration. If you click on them it'll take you to the image on Pinterest. On Pinterest, images will link back to the original source. If images are removed from the original source, they will still remain on Pinterest. For my layout I used a little bit of all of these as inspiration.

I loved the stylish take on traditional Christmas colors & the Christmas lettering rocks!

These gorgeous mason jar lamps are so feminine & nostalgic, I just LOVE the flash of red on the white lace.

Christmas subway art. Perfect collage of words to jump start any Christmas themed page.

And a beautiful door wreath with a crafty vibe. The mixture of patterns & colors, as well as the strong 'star' shape became my overall design inspiration.

Merry Christmas by Kim Watson. Supplies: Cardstock: Bazzill; Patterned papers: MME, Basic Grey, 7 Gypsies, October Afternoon, Jenni Bowlin; Snow Flakes: Maya Road; Sentiments & journal spot: October Afternoon; Buttons: MME; Twine: Twinery; Brads: Basic Grey; Alpha stickers: American Crafts, Sassafras, Jillibean Soup; Pen: Zig; Adhesives: 3L, Tombow; Printer & Paper: HP; Tools: Trimmer, Precision Scissors, Craft Knife: Acme; Cutting Machine: Silhouette; SVG files: Laina Lamb doily, Cocoa Daisy labels; Other: Serrated scissors  (All supplies part of a kit from Cocoa Daisy)

Doubting that I have time to do this since I'm leaving in the morning on a trip. Just want to say I love the challenge and that I really love Kim Watson's LO.

Just a quick question...Monday is not January 3rd.  So is the deadline Monday the 2nd, or Tuesday the 3rd?

I used the 2nd photo for inspiration...I love the crocheted feel of the wraps around the jar and the cream and white mixed together with the pops of red!

I was inspired by the Subway Art, my take on it is a bit of a stretch, but I was inspired to make a little word collage. Thanks for the fun challenge!!

I loved this challenge! As soon as I saw the first image, I made a sketch for this layout.

I've had this laser cut Christmas tree paper for a few years, and knew that it was perfect

I used Image #3 as inspiration for the grid like design on my layout, and then I also used Image #1 as inspiration for my hanging title letters:  clubcreatingkeepsakes.com/.../812335.aspx

Sorry for the delay! I think this one got lost in the transfer of responsibilities from past online gurus to me. :) Congrats to Sarah Mullanix, our December Pinterest challenge winner!
