Hi Ladies! Rachel Kaufman here with the next in a series of monthly challenges to encourage you to scrapbook about you - your thoughts, goals and dreams, your inner struggles, challenges and triumphs. Our kits at Scrapbooking from the Inside Out are the perfect match for these challenges, but you don't need a kit to play along. Just grab some of your stash and jump right in!
Growing Pains - Growth can be painful and difficult. Have you struggled with accepting the necessary difficulty sometimes involved in growing and changing? What has been your most painful growth experience to date? Have you had to let go of old beliefs, safety or comfort to make a real change in the quality of your life? What kind of pain have you had to handle to move your life forward?
Feel free to use any part of the challenge prompt that touches you - but we want you to add what we call the 'design twist' - using a visual representation to reinforce the challenge. For this month's design twist, try using a climbing vine to show growth or a torn element to express the pain of change or breaking from the past.

A few of our DT members explored growing pains in their layouts this month:
Design Team Coordinator Melissa Elsner knows that life's exciting and painful lessons all combine to make her a better person.

Laura Croft is pushing past her perfectionist fear of failure and allowing herself to experience uncomfortable growing pains in order to fly!

Mette Kallander learned the hard way that she has to be truly herself...she's grown into her own authentic self and let go of trying to be someone she's not.

Pamela Palmarini is just now embracing her uniqueness - growing into her own skin regardless of what the outside world and stuffy convention may dictate.

Happy scrapping!
--Rachel Kaufman
