Thanks for the chance at a holiday punch.  I have to say my favorite childhood memory of Christmas is every year we built a cookie castle to feed the birds.  Mom, Dad, my brother and I would all take our own corners and decorate them the way we wanted.  I remember lots of cookies, frosting, pretzels, gum drops and assorted candies!  The end result was quite interesting...what I wouldn't give for pictures of those annual cookie castles!

One of my favorite memories of Christmas is making ornaments each year with our children. Our children are grown now, and we gave each of them a dozen of these ornaments when they married. We still have some that we hang on our tree.  They bring back lots of memories of happy times together.

One of my favorite holiday memories is actually Easter; my grandmother always sewed mine and my sister's dresses, and we loved coloring the eggs and then the great Easter egg hunt.  There was always a "special" egg with money and so much fun for whoever found it!

A favorite holiday memory for me is a couple years ago my DS began struggling with his belief in Santa.  We always leave out cookies and a drink (usually sweet tea) for Santa.  On Christmas morning, he woke up, saw that the cookies and drink were gone - nothing but crumbs left on the plate.  DS looked at me with tears in his eyes and said, "He IS real!"  That moment will stay with me for a long time!  (Thanks for the chance to win punches!  They look awesome!)

One of my favorite holiday memories was almost 10 years ago when my boyfriend (now husband) joked with me that he was going to give me a lump of coal for Christmas.  And on Christmas Eve he really did give me a lump of coal but it was actually a piece of charcoal that he had cut in half and put a promise ring inside.

One of my favorite holiday memories is our Christmas Jammies for our kids.  On Christmas Eve, they get to open one gift from us at their grandparents house; it's always their jammies.  A couple of years ago, the boys opened their gifts & started stripping right there in the living room!  Clothes were flying & our youngest was dancing and singing at the same time.  I love seeing all of the kids in their jammies, opening gifts, with their giggles, excitement, and joy & just being surrounded by our wonderful family.  I also have to throw in that another favorite memory was the first year our oldest son was a part of the Children's Christmas Mass at our church.  He was a shepard & looked so adorable in his shepard costume standing up there on the alter with the beautiful Christmas decorations behind him.

My favorite holiday memory is an easy one! My oldest daughter was born on December 15th, I had an emergency c-section, so was in the hospital a little longer than expected. We didn't have any decorations up, and I was so upset that our daughter wasn't going to have any decorations for her first Christmas ( cuz you know she would notice! ;)) So I was of course already very emotional, and this was just the end of the world...then my husband made me so mad, cuz he "had to" run home the night before we got to go home, and the roads had been horrible due to all kinds of snow....we get home the next day, and he and my dad had put up the decorations for little miss e. :)

Now he will spend the rest of my Christmases in my heart. Christmas was his favorite holiday and mine as well. We decked the house out inside. He couldn't spend much time out. One of my favorite memories is getting and decorating the tree each year.  The sunday after Thanksgiving we would drive to a Christmas tree farm, and set out to find "The Perfect Tree".  We'd find candidate trees, but my mom would always need to give final approval- it had to be the perfect shape, height, etc, lol!  When we got that tree home, we'd beg to have it set up right away so we could decorate it!  Every year my mom bought each of us kids a new ornament, so that when we grew up and moved out, we'd have our own ornament collection started.  Some very happy memories  :)  Thanks for offering the amazing giveaway!

my favorite christmas memory:  My little sister had just had her first baby and was released from the hospital on christmas morning.  She drove across FL to get from her house to where the rest of our family lived.  My mom had been with her, so we did not have our normal christmas dinner, but they arrived just before we dug into the food my dad had ordered.  My big brother was in from California, my big sister was at the house with her family and it was great!  It felt like we had two christmases, because my niece/nephews who lived in my hometown opened all of their presents from santa in the morning, and then they got to open presents all night.  There was a beautiful new addition to our family.  It was the last holiday we were all together before tragedy struck my family.  My little brother died the next year, 3 days before christmas and the day before his 21st birthday.

I guess my favorite Christmas memory (that has now become a Christmas tradition) is spending Christmas with my mother-in-law in front of the tree with the help of Skype video. Even though we are separated by over 7,000 miles each Christmas, it feels like we are together as we read the Christmas story, open presents, and chat and visit over coffee like we were in the same house!

One of my favorite holiday memories was my last Christmas where I lived in Germany.  I was an Army bratt and we were about to get stationed back in the United States, the middle of my Junior year in High School.  This was a great trip, I got to spend the week with my friends on the ski slopes of France.  We would ski all day and hang out with each other, before I had to head back to the United States.  I was very nervous to leave my friends behind, because I had spent half of my life out of the United States and this would be my first time back and I did not realize what a culture shock the United States would be to me and it was a major culture shock when I returned to the good old USA.  This was one of my best memories.  My last time to spend with friends before going half way around the world.

We had a fabulous turkey dinner, DS videotaped Mom & Dad dancing very dorkily to the Chicken Dance (Jimmy Neutron soundtrack) with my belly out to there --- and the next clip on the videotape is newborn DD screaming crying as soon as we got home from the hospital. I love punches! Okay my favorite memory of Christmas is my mom decorating each year for the holdays. I'm not talking a "normal" amount of decorating but uber decorating. I always thought it was funny that it took mom 2 weeks to put up all the decorations. She had a funny things like the reindeer that played music, or her nativity scene that always grew during the year and had at least a dozen camels b/c she thought they were cute. She remembers her mom decorating everything and she continued the tradition. Now, I decorate the whole house and now my children LOVE it as much as I did as a kid.

When my brother and I were teenagers, my parents decided to cut down on decorating for Christmas since us kids were over the Santa thing.  So, instead of the great big tree, we had a small one (about 3 ft.) that sat on top of round side table.  Dad decided to decorate it with chocolate ornaments which were chocolate balls surrounded with gold foil decorative paper and had a gold loop on them.  We were told not to eat the ornaments until after Christmas.  Well of course, no one could resist, and everyone started picking them off of the back of the tree, by the time Christmas came only about 6 were left in a line on the front of the tree.  It was the funniest looking tree, but boy the chocolate was good.

On Christmas morning he reached in his stocking and pulled out the cheese and breadsticks, jumped up and down with a big smile, excitingly saying "Cheese! Just what I always wanted!" My favorite holiday memories would have to be my son coming into my bedroom at 6 am with our stockings & crawling into bed with me to open them up. He always got so excited about Christmas & would head off to bed early Christmas Eve (his choice) complaining that his stomach hurt. (from being too excited). Then he'd wake up early & sneak downstairs to check out the tree to see if Santa came. My rule was he couldn't wake me up until 6 am. Well, the minute my digital clock showed 6 am, he was in my room yelling at me to wake up & open our stockings. Now that he's 25 yrs old, I must admit that I miss those days.

One of my favourite Christmas memories related to our family Christmas lunch at my Grandparents place.  Grandma made the pudding in advance so the flavour would be just right .  Grandpa was put in charge of boiling it on Christmas Day.  The only task he had was to make sure the pudding kept bubbling away and keep topping up with boiling water.  Ooops - he got distracted, the water cooled down and when it came time for Grandma to unwrap the calico and cut it to serve she found it was waterlogged and stodgy!!!  Poor Grandpa - he never made that mistake again and of course we never let him forget about it either!!!

I remember a Christmas morning when my son was 8.  There wasn't as much money for gifts as we had hoped so I had to e creative in making it a happy day.  Of course, I started by crocheting and knitting...scarves, hats, sweaters.  Then I bought necessities like socks and gloves.  Then I wrapped each sock in a separate package and each glove the same way.  In fact, every set of things was broken down and wrapped separately.  Since I had used lots of rolls of wrapping paper, I saved the cardboard inserts and made directional road signs to plant into piles of gifts.  When my son came downstairs and saw a living room full of gifts, he was so excited.  Then came the sarcastic "oh Mom, 2 different boxes."  But, by the end of the unwrapping, he was in the spirit and yelling "where's the other sock, Mom?"  "I really got a pair."  It was one of the richest Christmas mornings of our lives.

My favorite holiday memory is how my sisters and I could never sleep through the night on Christmas eve.  Usually at some point we'd get bold, and attempt to go see what Santa left for us(always a Barbie!), but we had to get past my grandmother first!  She always stayed in the bedroom closest to the living room where the tree was.  We never did make it all the way to the tree before she would corral us and send us back to bed!

I laugh when I look back at one year when I was putting up the artificial tree for my parents (Dad had asthma and was allergic to live evergreen). I had put all the branches into the main stand and was "fluffing" the smaller individual branches. My dad gave me trouble because he said they should all be lined up horizontally so the ornaments could dangle properly. In my world, I've never seen a tree with horizontal branches!!

We do the Christmas morning gift opening, what did Santa bring :)  When our son was 5, as we were still in bed just waking up, we heard the sound of pitter patter of little feet walking into the living room, they stopped, and then he said in awe, "It's a miracle!"...so adorable, I'll always remember this moment.

What an awesome giveaway!!  I love fiskars!  My favorite Christmas memory is spending every Christmas Eve at my great grandmothers house. We would decorate the tree and all the presents would be there. We would have a wonderful dinner and then open our gifts to each other before going home to bed to wait for Santa.  It was great being with family and enjoying such a magical time. I now have two children and we moved away from all our family about a year ago for my husbands job.  I hope that our new traditions here in our new home create the wonderful memories for them that my times with my grandparents created for me.

Hmmmm ... favorite holiday memory?  That's a tough one!  There are so many!  We have many traditions in my family so there are always so many memories associated with those but one I remember is what we call our failed tradition.  We decided one year that we would find our own Christmas tree at this place where you could pick your own and cut it down.  We wandered the knee deep snow feilds for what seemed like hours freezing our buns off trying to find the perfect tree (does one actually exist?).  We ended up just pick one from the stack of one they had already cut in the end.  We still laugh about this to this day in how silly we were on our quest for the perfect tree Smile

Oh I love Fiskars!

My favorite holiday memory would have to be two years ago, when my husband and I were at his uncle's house for a holiday party.  His cousin dressed up in a Santa suit and proposed to his girlfriend there.  It was soooo sweet!  I loved it.

One of my favorite childhood memories is baking sugar cookies with my Mom. We would roll them out, use the cookie cutters to make the different shapes, and frost them and decorate them with sprinkles, colored sugar, etc. However the best part was eating one before anyone else and thinking that I had pulled a quick one over on my Mom. She always knew and always looked the other way!!! Thanks for the opportunity at such a great giveaway, a scrapper can never have too many punches?!

Wow, what a great giveaway! I would say my favorite holiday memory would be getting up in the middle of the night with my sister to check out the goodies under the tree, maybe tear back a corner of paper to sneak a peek. As we got older we would try to snoop for where the presents were hidden before Christmas (usually Mom's closet). We've never been much for letting suprises be a  suprise, lol.

My favorite holiday memory is from when my four boys were little.  They made their gifts each year for their dad, grandparents, aunts and uncles.  When you multiply that out...that was about 60 gifts between the four of them.  My boys weren't much on crafting, but at Christmastime they were really excited about getting their gifts made.  I loved that they made their gifts and that Christmas wasn't just about them.  They don't make their gifts anymore, but they also don't forget the important people in their lives...

Thanks for the fabulous giveaway...I love Fiskar punches!  :O)

Would love to win some punches to finish last years Christmas layouts.  My favorite memory and it's been a tradition forever is going to my Grandma's house.  She has a bi-level house and it overlooks the living room, so we'd pretend it was our stage, and sing Christmas songs from there.  Now that I'm old, my 8 year old niece has been carrying on the tradition, along with my 6 year old nephew...it's such a hoot!!

My favorite holiday memories are when I was young and we went to my grandparents' ranch for every holiday.  My grandmother always went all out for my sister and me.  She would set up a child-size table with miniture dishes of the things that were at the other table.  We would have a Cornish hen instead of a turkey, our own little miniture cakes and pies.  She made those days so special for us!

Thank you for the chance to win such an amazing giveaway! It would be a dream come true for this Fiskars lover!

My favorite Christmas memories are with my grandsons.  During the Christmas season, we hop in the car and each year we pick a different area in our local district to drive around and look at the Christmas lights on the houses.  I usually take a picture of them in front of one of our favorite decorated houses.  After this we go to our favorite restaurant and get wings.  It's always a great time!

My brother and I were teenagers.  We liked to shake the packages under the tree and guess what was in them.  We got too good at it.  So, Dad had begun putting codes on the pkgs. instead of names when we were pretty young.  The year we were in Junior High, he was called away on work (a train wreck he had to supervise) and didn't get home until Christmas day.  Since he had been gone a week and had been operating on little sleep, we told him to get a good nap and we would open the gifts that night.  Only he knew the code.  Within minutes of him waking up from his Christmas Day nap, he was called back out again.  Although he offered to have us open gifts while he was gone and would give Mom the code, we decided to wait.  He got back home on New Years Eve and we celebrated Christmas that night and opened gifts.  Needless to say, that was the end of coding packages for him.

One year one of my boys saw a John Deere pillow in our walmart  and begged me to buy it I went and bought it for him and I'll never forget the joy on his face when he opened his gift and saw  what it was. And over the years a whole lot of memories just like that one have been added

One of my favorite memories is making Christmas cookies. When we were close to done with the cut-out style cookies we'd put our hand on the dough, and my mom would trace it/cut it out. We'd then bake and frost our "hand cookies" any way we wanted to AND we could eat them right away (unlike the other Christmas cookies). I've passed this tradition on to my kids now (ages 3 & 4) and I even made a layout about it.

Thank you for offering this great give away.  I have so many wonderful holiday memories that I plan to write a book/scrapbook to pass on to my children and grandchildren.  One of my favs is now a tradition.  The whole family including our eight grandchildren gather to decorate Swedish pepparkakor cookies. Of course the little ones really pile on the frosting and candies and the pepparkakor men have characteristics of the person who decorated them.  It does not matter that the cookies are not decorated in the traditional way because everyone is having such a great time and creating new memories.  I also set aside a dozen or so cookies that are not decorated so I can enjoy the flavor of the cardamon and other spices.  Mmmmm - so good, and with a mug of glogg even better.

Great idea! I have two separate, yet frighteningly related stand-out memorable holiday experiences.

The first was in 3rd grade. My mother was invited to the school to explain Hanukkah to my class. She had me up front with her so we could light the menorah, and some how in putting the shamos (the helper candle that's above the others - on our menorah, much above) back into its holder, my mother managed to set my hair on fire. In front of the entire class. Being 8, I wasn't frightened, but boy was I mortified!

The second, I was in 10th grade. We had just moved that summer, and my mother couldn't find the box with the Hanukkah stuff, so she asked my brothers to build a menorah out of Construx (these plastic building toys - kind of erector set meets lincoln logs). Anyway, when we came in to light the candles, I said to her, "you're not actually lighting them, are you? the plastic will melt!!" She said it would be fine...long story short a couple of hours later, we discovered a 2 foot ball of fire in the den where it had been left burning unattended! Fortunately, my parents were able to extinguish the fire quickly, and everything turned out ok, but it definitely was another memorable Hanukkah!

I love Christmas, and I love punches - would really love to win this giveaway!!

My Mom could stand pine needles on the floor for two weeks and two weeks only - so, as my b'day is the 18th, we would always get the tree on my birthday and then, on New Year's, while Dad and my big bro were watching football games, she and I would take it down. So I always associate my birthday with the tree. As an adult, I have carried on this tradition; at least the first part about setting the tree up on my birthday - we keep the tree up until Epiphany. I have amassed a HUGE assortment of ornaments over the years, and one of my newest favorite memories was starting a new tradition last Christmas with our DGS - he gets to pick ANY ornament he wants off of G'ma & G'pa's tree for his very own. He picked a wooden choo-choo last year and seemed really happy with it; of course, I scrapped the event! We are expecting a 2nd "grand" around Labor Day, and while that baby will get a "Baby's First" ornament just like Gavin did for this Christmas, NEXT year we'll have TWO babes choosing ornaments from our tree. I think the traditions we devise for our families are almost the best part of the holidays.

You could put her down anywhere in the living room, in any direction, and when you came back she would be under the tree, staring at the lights.

This is only one of my favorite memories of Christmas.  After someone told my son that there is no Santa (before we wanted him to be told) he would search the house trying to find where we hid his gifts.  Day after Day before Christmas, he would rummage through the house.  He never found them.  Christmas Eve was soooooooooooo long, because he tried to wait us out to catch us in the act.  Mom's are smarter than kids!!!!

One of my favorite Childhood Christmas memories is visiting my grandparents and they would always have a gumdrop tree! I Loved the plastic tree that as a small child I thought was some kind of shinny glass or crystal. The colorful gumdrops with plenty of sugar coating them, would always sparkle in the lights from the christmas tree. My grandparents are no longer with us but every year I set out the gumdrop tree!

My memory of Christmas as a child is always loving the memory of waking up on Christmas morning with my stocking, which was handcrafted by my mother, filled with trinkets. Although i can not tell you one trinket that I received, I do know that I always remember getting an apple, an orange, and a banana. When i became an adult, i asked my mom why and she said it was because fruit was not an option in their house as children, due to cost, since there were 11 kids, so she put them in there to remind me that some things can't be taken for granted. This I will never forget. So, I really need these punches, because I made a New Year's resolution, no punches for one year, at least none that I could purchase. Since my drawers are over flowing with them right now. LOL, but I could definitely find room! tfs Tami

My parents weren't great travelers, and one Christmas they flew in to Chicago where my oldest sister picked them up at the airport.  On the way to my sisters (2nd oldest) home, they had a flat tire.  When we all sat down for dinner later in the day, the turkey was only partially cooked.  My sister (the non-cook) didn't know she needed to defrost the turkey for a few days prior, and had only somewhat thawed it that morning in cold water.  It was a good thing she had also made a ham, so we didn't have to go out for Chinese food.  Needless to say, that was the last holiday trip my folks out of state.

I have to say one of my best Christmas Memories is my first Christmas with my boyfriend and his family in 2007.  We all gathered the day after Christmas and while his mom made Horse Cookie Treats with the grandkids, his sister and I went shopping at the local Scrapbook Store.  This was only the SECOND time I had been in the store.  (Wenona was the reason I got hooked in scrapbooking).  They guys were out hunting.  We opened gifts that evening and had a blast.  That morning when I arrived Wenona and Madi were in the bathroom getting ready and Madi was very impatient trying to hurry up and get ready before I left and she didn't get to see me.  When she rain into the living room she gave me a HUGE BEAR HUG!  That night after she opened her pony I had bought her she gave me another hug and told me I was the BEST "UNCLE ROBIN" in the world.  Since that day, I have been TAGGED UNCLE ROBIN.  Everyone laughs.... but I love it!  The next day we all spent the day playing on Ronnie's land and having a blast.  I think this was the first christmas I had really enjoyed in many years.  It honestly seemed like Christmas to me.

One of my favorite Christmas memories is my Mom allowing my sister and I to open one gift on Christmas Eve. Something about the anticipation of that moment, right before we would head to bed ( and no doubt like awake from anticipation) just makes me smile. I can only remember one of those gifts - my Donny Osmond doll. He had a purple jumpsuit and I loved him dearly.
