The Club CK gallery is full of inspiring scrapbook layouts, projects,
and cards. Each week a few of the editor's from Creating
Keepsakes magazine spend some time perusing the gallery for the most
inspirational layouts. Here are few of their picks from this past week.

Twins? by kjacob
CK Dorathy Gilchrist recommends using inspiration such as the embroidery on
jeans, as kjacob has done, to make awesome accents or layout designs.

Enjoy Today by Trine Brandt-Lassen
Deena Wuest loves the fun perspective on these photos and how they
perfectly capture the spirit of those everyday moments. The simple act of
trimming the bottom photo to follow the curved line adds tons of interest and
leads the eye straight to the title. Sweet.

Colors at the Bellagio by 4noisyboys
Deena Wuest immediately noticed this fun layout in the gallery
and loves how the amazing colors pop off the dark background. Creating
clusters and surrounding them with plenty of white space (or in this case
"black" space) lends organization to all the excitement and
provides a good balance.

Humor by Christa Paustenbaugh
CK Erin Weed loves the whimsical touch of the O turned on its side. It
adds a playful touch to a layout about humor.

Big Girl Bike by Renee Zwirek
CK Erin Weed recommends you consider the rule of thirds when designing
your layouts. Here Renee put a grid of photos on 1/3 of her page, and then put
her journaling and title on the remaining third. It's a great way to create a
balanced and visually appealing layout.

Altered baby display by NICOLE MARTEL
CK Erin Weed loves how Nicole used a combination of pastel colors and
black to really make her project pop!

Owl You! By LatteLover
CK Erin Weed was touched by the thoughtful journaling on this page. Try
to add pages to your albums about what your children are learning, some of the
quirky things they do, and some of the things they do that just make you laugh.

Go Caleb! By calebsmommy
CK Erin Weed thinks the banner with the buttons is adorable. It's
always fun to create a new twist of a favorite trend.

cherish each moment by csescrap13
CK Erin Weed likes all the fun scraps of patterned paper under the
photos. It's a great way to ground the elements on your page, and also create a
fun mat.

Sew Special by Julia S
CK Erin Weed loves all the fun fabric touches on this layout. Not only
is her background fabric, but she also created a flower from rolled canvas and
included other fun trims.
Post your project to the Club
CK gallery today, and it may show up in the next project spotlight! Plus,
other community members will be able to enjoy the inspiration you post
throughout the week! Your page may even be picked up for publication in an
upcoming issue of Creating Keepsakes.
