Add dimension with paper folding + contest

Creative Paper folding has been around for years. It's a fun and creative element to incorporate onto your pages.  Paper folding can take shape in flowers, borders, pinwheels and footballs you shoot across the kitchen.  In the hybrid page below we folded a paper border element at the bottom and added some pinwheels with faux stitched stems.  This whimsical page was fun to create and tells the story of a very windy Fourth of July family gathering.

Happy 4th by Annette Hardy.

Janet Wilkins from Imaginisce created this fabulous layout featuring the Garden Party Cherish line creating a wider pleated border on top as well as beautiful folded circle flowers.

Happy scrapbooking!

In that first LO I love the way all those flourishes show so much movement to give the idea of a windy day and I'm  loving those pinwheels. I figured out how to make those last Thanksgiving when I was on a little vacation and had taken scrapping supplies with me. They're so cute to use. And I really like the pleated strips on both LOs. On the second LO I love those gorgeous paper flowers. Beautiful examples.

Here's mine: clubcreatingkeepsakes.com/.../583087.aspx

The two paper hearts in the lower right were folded by my daughter. These can actually be opened up to write a note, although I'm not planning to open them :-)

Used a rose folding pattern and flower petal pattern with variety of papers.  Both added a variety of dimension to the page.  The yellow rose required slits in the paper where tabs were inserted to maintain the stability.
