Hi! I'm Shelbi Bywater, and if you attend one of our Creating Keepsakes Scrapbook Conventions (CKC), you'll see me wandering the aisles of the Vendor Faire and teaching our awesome Creating Keepsakes classes. One of my favorite classes is "Bling It On", and if you love glitz and glam, you're sure to love this class too. Because I like bling so much, this week's one-hour challenge is to bling-up your pages with beads. By using small glass beads, you can add a subtle soft accent to your patterned paper like I did in this layout.

Or try using larger beads as the center of a flower or butterfly.

In the next 60 minutes, complete a layout using beads (or other bling if you don't have beads on hand).  By participating, you'll use up your stash, complete a project, or even have the chance to win one of two beautiful kits from The Paper Company Studio.

You have 60 minutes to complete the project. At the end of the 60 minutes, photograph or scan your project, and upload the image to the Club CK gallery (learn how to upload your project here). Then leave a comment below with the URL link to your page by 12:15 p.m. MDT today. For example, your comment could look like this: "My page is posted here: http://clubcreatingkeepsakes.com/media/p/31086.aspx." One winner will be randomly selected who participates in the live challenge.

Note: If you're new to Club CK, you'll need to create a free account here in order to be able to upload your project. I suggest registering now so your account will be active by the time you complete your project.
