Designer Interview at CHA: Kerri Wickersheim from Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L

Scrapbooking is a beautiful form of creative self-expression, and now you can take that self-expression a step further by personalizing your scrapbooking tools. Introducing the MyStik by Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L. We caught up with Kerri Wickersheim at the 2010 Craft and Hobby Association (CHA) Summer tradeshow, where she showed us the bells and whistles of this completely customizable, interchangeable, and refillable adhesive. You can even add a creative touch to this adhesive runner by dressing it up with patterned paper, names, or even photos. Fun! Check out how it works in this video.

I use Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L already as my adhesive of choice. What I absolutely love about this new product is that you can interchange the many different adhesive runners (environmentally friendly!) Not to mention the fact that you can totally customize the tool itself!! LOVE IT!!

I like that you can use the one handle with the many cartridges but my question would be ... when you have other cartridges not in the handle, how do they stay protected and not ruined ... no covering on the adhesive? Thanks for sharing with us.

The adhesive looks great, I'll have to try it. I love that I can add patterned paper or pictures to the holder too. What a great idea.

There was a lot of cool stuff at CHA. Got to try stuff that I've seen and heard about online. I kept thinking that I need a craft fairy godmother to get me the things i want, since i have no job. LOL

That is awesome!  I love the size and the 3 different positions!!  Not to mention that all different types of adhesive can be used!  Very cool!!

This is an awesome idea!!!!!  I have all the vellum, dots, etc, that are a "royal pain" because they are just sort of loose.  To be able to switch them out in the holder is great.  Plus, a beautiful pic of the grand baby is always welcome on anything!!!  LOL  NICE!!!!!

These look so neat!  I love that it has a Vellum adhesive.  I always have the worst time trying to adhere vellum and not have adhesive show.

Great idea. My mom, sister, nieces and I get together for weekend crops and at the end are always trying to figure out who's adhesives belong to who.

Another great tool, I love the way the adhesive is interchangeable and you can change the position - I thought it was just a way to be more decorative at first.  Thanks for the video!

I love the fact that 3L listened to the consumers who were looking for a "green" alternative to the non-refillable runner for the Scrapbook Adhesive.  Also love the idea of having the repositionable handle, as well as the built in self closure...no more having to find caps to put back on my tape runners.  Yay!  MyStik will definetly be at home in my craftroom!

These look great!  I've always liked the 3L adhesives, and I love that these are now refillable. I like the built in self closure, too!  Can't wait to see these in person!
