Each day in the Club CK gallery, you'll find numerous scrapbook pages, cards,
and crafting projects posted to inspire your designs. Enjoy the following fantastic
designs and ideas the Creating Keepsakes team spotted in the gallery this last week.

Soccer Star by Tammie
A scallop frame is perfect for a soccer layout--it nicely
reinforces the circle shape of soccer balls.
--

Sack of Spuds by LynnG
CK senior editor Kim Jackson adores this original take on a
holiday scrapbook page, because "the way Lynn focused in on a detail from the
day makes her page fresh and memorable."
--

He's Like a Fortune Cookie by Kim Watson
If your child constantly shares great one-liners, consider
fortune-cookie journaling for a fun approach on a scrapbook page.
--

Cousins by Jessica
Create hand-stitched swirls on your layout. If you aren't
comfortable drawing a design freehand, print out a design you like, place it
over your cardstock, and then punch holes every 0.125" along the design.
Remove the printout, and then stitch over the holes.

Vacation Memories by anke
This patterned paper is a great complement to the photos. It
sets the scene of a field and is positioned so the photo subjects are looking
in its direction--just like they were looking into a field when the photo was
initially taken.

Play by Scrapper007
Sometimes a single accent well placed is enough to make a
scrapbook page shine. [Wink!] The playful title font on this layout matches the
happy feel of the sun accent to strengthen the cheerful mood of the layout.
--

Just for Ewe by Donna Davis
If you're in the market for an innovative card, check out
this fabulous design. See the card closed here.
--

A Traitor in Our Midst by Kathy
The rounded corners of the large paper blocks offer a soft
feel that matches the mood of the color palette on this scrapbook page.
--

So Blessed by Davita
"The color scheme is beautiful," says CK associate
editor Dorathy Gilchrist. "The layered border strips and circle motifs also
work well together."
--

Happiness Shared by JanaMorton
"These photos are so sweet," says CK editor Lori Fairbanks.
"And this beautifully designed page showcases them so well--the white frames
around the photos help them stand out."

Odds & Ends '07
by brown eyed girl
This layout is the perfect solution for the closing page of
an album. Whenever you have extra photos that don't fit into the other layouts you
create, an "odds and ends" layout is a fun way to scrapbook them!
--

I Really Love NY by Laura McCandless
This asymmetrical design offers a fresh take on large
background papers. Don't feel the need to always center them on your design--layering
them in one corner of the page adds a fun, unexpected twist.
--

Exhausting by Jody Wenke
CK assistant editor
Joannie McBride loves this layout "because the photos convey the personality of
the subject." The title placed between the photo rows also provides a great way
to cover harsh edges where photos meet.
--

Hippity Hop Fun by Gloria
The Easter Bunny accent on this scrapbook page is nicely
positioned to lead the eye from the main photo to the row of supporting
pictures near the bottom of the layout.
--

Beauty by earlofoxford
CK
senior designer Maren Ingles loves the layered borders around the photo strip
on this page. She comments, "They embellish the page without taking the focus away
from the beautiful orchids in the photos."
--

9 Months by Kim
This photo mat definitely draws attention to the picture.
Check out how Kim filled the top area of the mat with a decorative patterned
paper that balances the caption and flowers near the bottom of the photo mat.
--

In an Instant by DorisV
CK senior
designer Neko Carrillo thinks the "use of white space in this layout really
draws the eye to the photo of the adorable little girl. Nice job!"
--

My Visit with Mallory by Hope
This design provides a great introduction for an album--a photo
collage that shows several fun times that will be featured in more detail on
the pages inside the album.
